The beauty and power of plant medicine has been a passion of mine for decades. I've been using herbs, teas, tinctures, salves and such in our household to support my family's health and well-being for over 30 years. It is only now that I have the time to immerse myself in my passion and live it out to its fullest potential. What a blessed adventure!

My handcrafted, all-natural herbal skin care products business came about quite serendipitously as I decided to make them for Christmas in 2023 instead of my usual baked sweet treats. The recipes I found were the relatively simple ones I'd used in the past and I already had many of the ingredients on hand so I thought how nice a rich, luxurious, organic herbal infused sugar scrub would be instead of brownies. Or a homemade organic medicinal salve that relieves the pain and inflammation from arthritis would be instead of homemade fudge (although I still make those too!) It was a wonderful feeling knowing that I gifted products that are so healthy and nourishing for our skin and bodies and everyone enjoyed them so much! They were so well received by family, friends and neighbors that they continue to ask for more!

I was introduced to therapeutic essential oils a few years ago and down the rabbit hole I went! I have over 100 of the best quality essential oils in my inventory to work with. Yes, its quite possibly an addiction. The healing properties of these oils is magnified as they are made from the distilled oils of the plants and flowers themselves and contain highly therapeutic properties. I incorporate a variety of essential oils like lavender, geranium, citrus, myrhh, eucalyptus and so many more with a variety of vitamin rich, healing oils into small batches to create incredibly decadent, luxurious, nutrient dense, organic skin care products.

I love working in my apothecary kitchen as I come up with new synergistic recipes loaded with skin nourishing oils and therapeutic essential oils that offer a variety of health and wellness benefits with each product I create. It truly is a science in herbal health and wellness that I adore.

I grow my own organic herbs and greens in aeroponic Tower Gardens in my basement in the winter and in the bright sunshine in the summer. I harvest the herbs & flowers, freeze dry them immediately and use them to infuse oils such as sunflower oil, sweet almond, grapeseed and olive oil that I use in my skin care products. I also infuse oils for cooking and use the herbs to infuse into apple cider vinegars to elevate the medicinal properties and flavors of the vinegar. It is such a joy to see my herbal apothecary grow with each plant I harvest!

I've learned that nature knows best and as such, I believe we deserve healthful, organic, nutrient dense products and foods that are free from harsh chemicals. This is why I grow all of our greens on the tower gardens. Each one of my products is made with the finest grade, organic, skin nourishing ingredients.

I also believe in a clean, healthy environment and this is why I am committed to glass product packaging and biodegradeable packing supplies. The jars I use are sturdy and reuseable and I avoid single use plastics wherever possible.
