Starr Mountain Apothecary's "Cushy Tushy Baby Balm" is handcrafted with all organic, aeroponically grown calendula flowers infused in organic sunflower oil and a bit of nourishing vitamin E.

Calendula flower is a wonderful herb for babies, being both potent as well as soothing and gentle. It is one of the most popular herbs for treating cradle cap, diaper rash and other skin irritations.

Calendula flower is a powerful vulnerary, healing wounds by promoting cell repair and growth. The flower is also a noted antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.

Topical vitamin E oil is a natural antioxidant and moisturizer, which can help sooth the skin and promote healing.

As a natural oil derived from cold pressed sunflowers, sunflower oil is considered an emollient, helping skin to retain its moisture. As a result sunflower oil is ideal for those with sensitive skin. It is very calming, soothing and hydrating.

I've added a bit of organic beeswax to create this wonderful balm and I chose not to add any essential oils to ensure the purest, most soothing, mild and healing balm possible.
